Programme mobilisation
Supporting production start-up, facility readiness, tooling, personnel requirements and the practical preparation needed before aircraft work begins.
From a British Aerospace aircraft engineering apprenticeship to production leadership on major commercial and military aircraft modification programmes.
Mark Bateman has spent 39 years working across aircraft maintenance, structural modification, conversion and production operations.
His career began with a British Aerospace aircraft engineering apprenticeship and progressed through structural engineering, team leadership and project management into senior production roles.
That experience spans complex commercial and military aircraft programmes, including the Boeing 777-200LRMF passenger-to-freighter conversion, RAF E-7 Wedgetail, Airbus A380 Wing Modular Repair and international inflight connectivity modifications.
Across these roles, Mark has worked at the point where production planning, people, engineering requirements and customer commitments must come together to keep aircraft programmes moving.
